SOULS was our first collaboration with Frank Widemann’s studio. We were invited to film inside his photo production rather than alongside it, using the same setups, light, and direction to capture motion that extended his portraits beyond single frames. Between takes we filmed glances, resets, and small movements around the models - moments that reveal the emotional tone of the series and sit alongside the stills as quiet, textural companions.
