Mexico: Canopy to Coast

First time on the continent. Two weeks. Two properties. Light that stayed with us.

Mecixo FourSeasons Naviva Raicilla

We flew to Mexico for just under two weeks to equip Four Seasons Naviva and Punta Mita with a robust suite of moving-image content assets. Playful storytelling infused with the laid-back energy of “barefoot luxury,” capturing the essence of Mexico’s Pacific Coast and people through the lens of effortless luxury Four Seasons is synonymous with.

It was our first time on the continent, our first real encounter with this culture, and despite the jet lag, it felt breathtaking from the moment we landed.

Naviva was the first stop.

A place that feels like it belongs to the jungle more than any map. Tented structures that open to the trees, paths that lead to the ocean, a sensual, immersive vibe where the staff knows every bird call and tide shift. We’d never experienced anything like it; it’s a truly special place. We filmed with the kind of patience that comes from being somewhere new, letting the property reveal itself through small movements of water, leaves, light filtering through the canopy, jungle wellness sessions, garden walks with the chef, and general hero b-roll above the tents.

Punta Mita came next.

The Four Seasons vibe here was next level. A massive resort where we spent every day racing around in golf carts loaded with equipment, covering half the property just to hit the next location on time. The ocean hits different: wider, sharper, with a horizon that pulls everything toward it, more playful and energetic with family-friendly amenities. We worked through spa wellness shots, beach detoxs, family wind-downs, the Churro Cart for core memories, but one of the first pieces we finished was the Aramara restaurant edit: world-class sushi captured in 6K anamorphic, with every frame built to hold the texture of the fish, the play of light and the quiet precision of the chef’s hands.
