No deck. No brief. Just four people, a few cameras, and light that made us move.

When Semmy Dueren called and asked if we were down to work on the SCOTT edit 2025, it was an easy yes. A brief like this is exactly the kind of thing you don’t want to pass up.

There are places that only reveal themselves slowly. Rosewood Schloss Fuschl was one of them. What began outside the property around the lake, in Salzburg, in the hills, and through the people shaping the place eventually led us inside, where the project took on a life of its own.

On two quiet days in Frank Widemann’s studio, we slipped between the flashes. While portraits were being made, we went looking for the movements that usually disappear.
