SCAPES in Thailand
No deck. No brief. Just four people, a few cameras, and light that made us move.
The Thailand trip started as a bit of a reset - part company retreat, part creative detour, part excuse to get out and look again. The prints didn’t arrive in time. So we left with rough sketches, a loose plan, and the idea that Thailand might fill in the rest. Scooters on Koh Tao. Monsoon breaks. Sunset light hitting palm leaves at the exact angle that makes you grab a camera.
A short scooter ride on Koh Tao changed the rest of it. We found a local printing shop, walked in on impulse, explained the idea, and by the next day we had prints in hand. We tested them, wore them, shot them, and suddenly the trip wasn’t just about gathering references anymore, it was actively feeding the next stage of the clothing development.
What came back with us was more than footage or inspiration. It was a clearer sense of texture, color, and rhythm and a handful of moments that might make their way into the prints, the clothes, and whatever comes after.
